Well, this season for me started off with a totally new mind set. I worked my butt of this summer Mtn biking, hiking, working out and as well as my favorite thing to do in the summer, which is skateboarding. So, going into this season I felt strong and confident. Last season I spent a lot of time competing in both halfpipe and slopestyle on the whole tour, which was the Dew Tour, The North Face Open series, WSI and so on. Within competing and traveling from spot to spot I lost what I truly loved about skiing, which was the actual just skiing part. Competing is a mind game and I defiantly got too inside my head when I competed last season, which in favor made me not ski to my full potential. So this 2013-2014 season I decided to take a step back from competing and do what I truly wanted to do, which was just skiing and filming. The thing with me though is I didn't want to just film one aspect of skiing I want to film everything whether that be urban, big mtn lines, park, backcountry and jumps I wanted to do it all. I see so many kids in our sport of freestyle skiing that could have the potential to be a really good all around skier but they choose to just ski one discipline. Which is totally fine but in my mind I just find it way more appealing to see someone ski it all people like Dunken Adams, Parker White, Chris Logan those are the kind of skiers who are raising the bar of skiing in my mind. So just have fun with skiing and if you are doing progressive and cool stuff people are going to notice. So just go out there and SENDERRRRR.....
