North Face Open at Northstar

Once again off to another adventure on the road this time I headed out to Tahoe, CA. for the Northface Open at Northstar. This was the first competition that I did both slopestyle and halfpipe in almost 2 years. I forgot how much fun slope was an ended up making semi-finals and missing finals by only a couple spots. Ended up 14th overall I'd say thats not to bad for not skiing a slopestyle event in 2 years. Halfpipe was the last day of the event and it ended up being one of those days you always wish for sunny, no clouds and a slushy pipe! It was great to have my best buds there shredding this event with we. Fellow team members from Moment Skis Kyle Smaine and Sean Collins. I ended up qualifying 3rd for finals but just couldn't put down the run I wanted in finals. So ended up 11th which I am bummed I couldn't have done better but it was hands down the best halfpipe I skied all year and I got to see my buddy Kyle Smaine grab the win. Here are some photos of the trip.
